Rambo the sook !

Well just like the title suggests Rambo the Rottweiler is the biggest sook ever! Although he didn't start out that way.

I found Rambo at a shelter where he was meant to be put down, due to his vicious nature and his bad history. He came from a car yard and was beaten on a regular basis to keep him mean (I guess). When I saw him, he was scary as hell! growling, lunging at me and going nuts.

But for some reason I liked him! I saw straight away that it was a front. This poor dog just needed to be loved, and I convinced the shelter to give him to me (mind you that I had to sign a waver stating that I would be responsible for his actions etc).

During the first 2 weeks, he wouldn't come near me. I ignored him on purpose, so that it was up to him whether or not he wanted to be friendly. He has never once shown any dangerous nature to me or my family or my friends etc.

After we broke the ice, there has been no turning back. I have had him for 3 years now and he is the most trustworthy animal ever!

He is very well behaved, loves my kids and follows them around watching what they do. I have always made it his choice to love us - we never pushed it on him. He truly is a inspiration.

I could go on and on about Rambo all day, he is amazing! He inspires me to forgive and forget the bad things. He has never once made me question if I made the wrong choice.

He is our family, our sook.
